The big 3-3

On Easter Sunday, 1978, as Christians around the world were celebrating the risen Lord, my mother was giving birth to her second daughter. So, happy birthday to me :)  As a gift to myself, I decided to drive out here to Lancaster, Pennsylvania yesterday in order to catch a play this afternoon. I normally hate plays with a passion (particularly musicals), but Sight & Sound Theatres is renowned for bringing Biblical stories to life in an unparalleled fashion. And, admittedly, after seeing their production "Abraham and Sarah" several years ago, I became hooked and have since seen "Daniel," "Noah," and "Miracle of Christmas."

Today, Sight & Sound is showcasing "Joseph," a new production which kicked off their 2011 season last weekend. I'm looking forward to having a great time... and, once it's all over, spending the rest of the evening vegging out in my hotel room. Now that's what I call a very happy birthday.

  4. Happy Birthday :) Praying that this year for you will bring lots of joy, laughter, new passions, new dreams and old dreams fulfilled and God will give you the desire of your heart - and introduce you to a really, ridiculously hot, spiritual, amazing man of God who thinks YOU are fabulous ! ( If you want Him to that is! ) :D

  5. Thanks for the birthday wishes, everyone! It went very well. Got to PA and back with no problems and "Joseph" was AMAZING!!! Would definitely love to see that again!

@Slidecutter - Veggin' out is priceless... and addictive, so I better be careful :)

@Poekitten - Missed "Genisis" :( But I have no doubts that its was awesome! Those folks know how to put on a show!

@melody-mae - Cosmetology?! I never knew! I'm guessing you can give me one mean head-to-toe makeover, right?!

@Miss365 - A spiritual hottie would be mighty fine indeed, but unfortunately I still can't see straight because all of my debt is blurring my vision. Once I get my financial house in order (and it's actually going pretty well!) then I think I would be able to better focus on a spiritual hottie pants :) Can't wait to see who God sends my way!!!
