I tried saving money one Christmas by getting my sister's gift (a Rolling Stones documentary) off eBay. Unfortunately, I didn't read the item description and wound up getting her a DVD with Korean subtitles.

Write about a piece of jewelry you gave to someone, or that someone gave to you.
An ex-boyfriend gave me a crappy earring and necklace set which I never wore and immediately threw out after we broke up. He knew my style leaned Goth, yet he bought me something fit for a freakin' Disney princess. No, I am not Snow White!

Write about someone who is/was "too nice."
Over the holidays, my co-worker didn't have the guts to kick her head lice infected relatives to the curb. Seriously, those folks knew their scalps were crawling with parasites, but didn't tell her until they were at her front door. What the...?!



I couldn't handle a snake or a tarantula. Those would totally freak me out.
